As you might already know, first looks are one of our favorite wedding day moments. We’ve seen just about every reaction out there and we can truly say that first looks are magical. This moment is one of the only times you and your partner get to spend with one another before your big day begins. We believe first looks are a must and that’s why we’ve compiled some of our favorites that we’ve been able to witness. Read on to see all of our favorite first looks.
1. Megan and Jessie
Megan and Jessie recently hosted their wedding in Tulum, Mexico and their first look was very special. We have loved being a part of their journey as Megan is one of our cinematographers, and we even got to capture their engagement earlier this year. 2. Lizzy and Jermaine
Lizzy and Jermaine had a first look that we absolutely loved. Lizzy and Jermaine have been together for over eight years now and to be able to capture their wedding day at the Oregon Golf Club was such a pleasure. Their first look was very emotional and they were beyond speechless. To say this was one of our favorite first looks would be an understatement. 3. Brea and Tanner
Brea and Tanner had one of the most special elopements we’ve had the opportunity to capture. Brea is the sister of one of our editors, Ryan, which made this film even more unique for us. Ryan was not only able to edit his sister’s wedding film, but he also got to officiate their ceremony. Their first look was so intimate, emotional, and special. 4. Vida and Ed
Vida and Ed are another couple that we loved working with. They hosted their wedding at the Portland Art Museum and their ceremony and reception was full of entertainment and culture. Their first look was magical and fun and full of everything we love to see. Check out their first look in the video below!
All in all, first looks are a must for your wedding day. They are the perfect opportunity to share an intimate moment and to allow for some breathing time before you big day starts. It might even calm the nerves a bit before the big ceremony! In addition, this is one of the most special moments as you can witness in all of these wedding films.
